交流电机最高转速比直流电机提高很多,动力更强劲。而且,交流电机可以将获得的再生能量回馈给蓄电池,既延长了电池的使用时间,又可以将这些能量用于提高叉车的整体性能。其结果是叉车在行驶中启动更快,加速/减速性能大大提高,缩短了达到最高速度的时间与行走距离。
2. 运行与维护成本降低
采用再生制动,降低运行成本
再生制动是一种非接触性制动,比传统的制动系统大大简化。不论驾驶者通过踩刹车踏板刹车,还是转换行驶方向刹车,电动机均会处于发电机状态,其电磁转矩将成为制动性质的转矩。这意味着刹车片的磨损降至最低。而机械磨损大大下降,也就减少了叉车维护费用,使运行成本更低。
交流电机终生免维护
交流电机无需换向接触器(前进、后退换向)、无碳刷和换向器,体积更加轻便小巧,运转速度更快,而且彻底摆脱了定期检测和更换碳刷的麻烦。由此带来的最大好处是:叉车电机几乎终生不需要维护,极大地增强了叉车的可靠性与稳定性。
3. 易于编程,控制能力大大增强
随着半导体技术的飞速发展,变频调速技术取得了突破性发展,可以实时控制交流电机的运转,使交流电机的控制能力大大增强,获得了同直流电机一样的调速性能。交流驱动采用速度力矩控制,控制的灵敏度提高,从而带来叉车操作效率提高;采用加速踏板释放制动功能(即叉车行走时油门稍一松,再生制动就起作用),前进过程中换向为倒车时可以平稳过渡,提高了叉车的稳定性与可靠性。
